Eric Pommier promoted to VP of Manitowoc Crane Care in EMEA

Eric Pommier has been promoted to vice president of Manitowoc Crane Care for the EMEA region. Pommier was previously an operations project manager at Manitowoc. In his new role, effective today, he will focus on EMEA aftermarket customer support services of Manitowoc Crane Care, working closely with the EMEA Cranes management team, with ongoing focus on aligning the EMEA region with other Manitowoc Crane Care operations around the world. 

Larry Bryce, executive vice president for Manitowoc Crane Care, says that Pommier’s time with Manitowoc will serve him well in his new role. “Eric has been with Manitowoc for 20 years, holding positions in engineering, operations and project management,” he said. “The expertise and experience that Eric has gained through his previous roles with Manitowoc has perfectly positioned him to lead our service in EMEA into the future.” 

 Pommier will continue to work on several strategic imperatives designed to further enhance Manitowoc Crane Care as a market leader in customer support. Pommier replaces Thibaut Le Besnerais who will be moving to another position within Manitowoc.  

Pommier has an MBA from the Ecole de Management Business School in Lyon, France; a Masters in mechanical engineering from the Claude Bernard Central Lyon University and the National Institute for Applied Sciences; and a doctorate in mechanical engineering from the Claude Bernard University in Lyon, France.
